The noble house of Fompeyres sold in 1650 by the Duchess du Maine to Jacques de Mehée was given up to the de Guerre Family in 1680, then to the de Guilhemanson family from Irish origin (esquire Williamson) which passes the property on to Armande de Cholet, who married in 1943 the Count Aymar de Roquemaurel.
